The ‘A Secret To Die For’ storyline and unique characters were conceived of by Diane Hughes, who is the sole author of the ‘A Secret To Die For’ manuscript. Copyright registration by Diane Hughes of her ‘A Secret To Die For’ manuscript occurred on the 27 November 2000 with the United States Library of Congress, Copyright Office, under registration number TXu-980-490. The pending ‘A Secret To Die For’ feature film is an adaptation of the aforementioned manuscript of the same name by Diane Hughes.
Initially there will be two separate ‘A Secret To Die For’ books, with one being based upon the feature film and its script; and the other, an edited version of Diane Hughes original manuscript as registered for copyright on 27 November 2000 as mentioned above. It is likely that other related books will be produced, for example a book to accompany the planned television documentary titled ‘The Making of A Secret To Die For’.
The initial ‘A Secret To Die For’ books will be released for retail sale approximately three to four months prior to the worldwide release of the ‘A Secret To Die For’ feature film.
As further news becomes available concerning the ongoing editing, publishing, and actual release dates of the ‘A Secret To Die For’ and related books, it will be announced on this web page.
